Description

This market will resolve according to which map is played the most times across all official matches of VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China. The competitive map pool for VALORANT Champions 2026 consists of Abyss, Ascent, Haven, Lotus, Split, Summit, and Sunset. Every completed map in every official match of the tournament (Group Stage and Playoffs) counts once, regardless of its result or whether it went to overtime. Maps that are forfeited or awarded without being played do not count. If two or more maps are tied for the most plays, this market will resolve to the map whose name comes first alphabetically. If the map played the most times is not listed in this market (e.g., due to a map pool change), this market will resolve to "Other". If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled or postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be the official match results and per-map statistics on vlr.gg (https://www.vlr.gg/event/2766/valorant-champions-2026). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a map is more likely to be the most played than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, analytical approaches, or simply varying opinions on the likely outcome of VALORANT Champions.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares of each map, and the price of a share represents the probability of that map being the most played. As more shares are purchased for a particular map, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the potential outcome. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis.

This market resolves around Nov 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which map appears most frequently during official matches at VALORANT Champions 2026. The official match schedule and results will be the primary source for determining the winning map. Traders should monitor official VALORANT Champions announcements for the final match data used to settle this market.

Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major roster changes for top VALORANT teams, shifts in the meta favoring certain maps, and announcements regarding the tournament format could all influence trader behavior. Unexpected strong performances by teams on specific maps during qualifying events could also drive price changes. Any news related to player health, strategic innovations, or map-specific balance adjustments are likely to be closely watched and reflected in the odds on Polymarket.
