Opinion
In the upcoming CCT Europe best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-16 11:10 UTC: if ILLYRIANS wins the series, the market will resolve to "ILLYRIANS"; if Morrow Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "Morrow Esports". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: HLTV (https://hltv.org); if HLTV has not published the result within 2 hours after the series' conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, it could indicate that the market perceives information differently than the sportsbook, or that one venue has a more informed participant base. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds in accuracy, particularly when there’s strong public interest and active trading.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price adjusts dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of expectations. The current implied probability of Morrow Esports winning, for example, is reflected in the price of the corresponding contract.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Morrow Esports vs ILLYRIANS match as reported by the governing esports league or tournament organizers. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome is the winner. Traders holding the winning contract will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding team rosters, player form, or strategic changes could shift expectations. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also have an impact. Furthermore, performance in preceding matches, analyst predictions, and even social media sentiment can all contribute to price movements. Major upsets in other related esports events could also indirectly affect the perceived probabilities, leading to increased trading volume and price fluctuations.
