If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, allowing traders to weigh various factors—team form, injuries, even weather—to arrive at probabilities. While sportsbooks set lines based on models and public perception, this market reflects real money being put behind specific outcomes. Discrepancies between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds can sometimes highlight perceived mispricings or unique insights held by market participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s depth—the number of shares available at different price points—also provides insight into the level of conviction behind each outcome. A deeper market suggests greater confidence in a particular result.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Moreirense FC vs. CF Estrela da Amadora match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will occur after the match concludes and the result is widely reported by reliable sports news sources. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Moreirense FC or CF Estrela da Amadora would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, particularly if they are expected to be adverse, might influence the perceived likelihood of certain scorelines. Major tactical announcements from either team’s manager could also move this market.
