Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the third period of an NHL hockey game between Montreal and Washington. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the scoring activity exceeds that benchmark. The outcomes depend solely on the official game result, with specific handling for postponements and cancellations.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams in the third period of the Montreal vs Washington NHL game scheduled for October 14, 2026, with each market having a distinct threshold (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). If the cumulative goals exceed the respective threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Importantly, third-period markets exclude any goals scored in overtime. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets remain active and resolve according to the final official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within this 48-hour window, all markets will resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
