Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the first period of an NHL hockey game between Montreal and Washington. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the combined score exceeds that threshold. The outcomes reflect the excitement level of the opening period.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams in the first period of the NHL game between Montreal and Washington scheduled for October 14, 2026. A 'Yes' outcome occurs when the combined goals exceed the specified threshold for each market (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Note that overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these first-period markets.
