Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set opening lines based on their own analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individuals. As more information becomes available and opinions evolve, the odds here can move independently of sportsbook adjustments. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or breaking news related to team performance or player availability. These differences can present opportunities for informed traders.

The current price of shares reflects the collective assessment of all traders on the platform.
