Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market relies on individuals directly wagering on outcomes. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks to incorporate new information, especially in response to breaking news or unexpected developments related to the teams involved.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of occurring. Conversely, selling shares drives the price down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove correct. The current leading outcome, Montakhab Suez Petrojet 3 - 2 Smouha SC, is priced at 100%.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Suez Petrojet vs. Smouha SC match, as reported by a recognized sports authority, will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against these sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the market. Traders who held shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the final market prices at resolution.
