Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, the odds here can diverge. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when there's strong public interest or access to unique information. This can result in more accurate probabilities for the event's outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and collective intelligence regarding the MODUS Super Series darts match.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the MODUS Super Series darts match between Niek Tuik and Andreas Harrysson, as declared by the official tournament organizers. The platform will rely on publicly available and widely accepted sources to determine the winner of the match and finalize the market’s outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will settle.
