Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by factors like house bias or initial line setting. Sportsbooks may also adjust their odds more slowly to changes in public perception than this market, where prices react quickly to new information and trading activity. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly before an event, as prediction markets aggregate diverse opinions and information, while sportsbooks may focus on more traditional analytical models. However, as the event approaches, these odds tend to converge.
