Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying information sources and incentives. Sportsbooks typically set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the collective beliefs of many individuals. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those found here, it could indicate disagreement about key factors influencing the match. It's important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different methodologies, and neither guarantees an accurate prediction.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven solely by supply and demand, meaning it can fluctuate rapidly based on new information or shifts in sentiment. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Grant Sampson vs Archie Self match as reported by the governing body of the MODUS Super Series. Any disputes or ambiguities will be resolved using publicly available information and established sporting regulations. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly to those who correctly predicted the result.
