Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each player winning. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. It’s important to note that prediction markets often become more accurate closer to the event as more information becomes available and trading volume increases.

Public opinion and analysis from darts experts could also play a role, although the market ultimately reflects the collective judgment of traders on Polymarket.
