Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, which can sometimes differ from sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly deviates from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information or changing circumstances than traditional sportsbooks, potentially offering a more dynamic and up-to-date assessment of probabilities.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the market price converges towards what the collective believes is the true probability. The platform’s design encourages efficient price discovery, as traders are incentivized to express their informed opinions and profit from mispricings. This creates a dynamic and responsive market, constantly adjusting to new information and sentiment.

This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
