This market refers to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang match between Geek Fam ID and Dewa United Esports in the MPL Indonesia Regular Season, initially scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Geek Fam ID" if Geek Fam ID win the match against Dewa United Esports. This market will resolve to "Dewa United Esports" if Dewa United Esports win the match against Geek Fam ID. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 3, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. While sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, this market aggregates the collective predictions of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or information not yet fully priced into traditional odds. It’s common to see this market diverge from sportsbook lines as new information emerges or as traders interpret available data differently, potentially offering value for informed bettors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price fluctuates based on supply and demand; increased buying pressure drives the price up, indicating growing confidence in that outcome, while selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three series between Geek Fam ID and Dewa United Esports in the MPL Indonesia Regular Season. The winning team, as determined by the official tournament organizers, will dictate the outcome of this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially declared and verified.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player form, potential roster changes for either Geek Fam ID or Dewa United Esports, or strategic shifts announced by either team could significantly impact trader sentiment. In-game performance during the series itself will be a major driver, with strong early showings by one team likely to increase their share price. Unexpected drafts or innovative strategies employed during the matches could also cause shifts in the market as traders adjust their predictions.
