This market refers to the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Upper Bracket Quarterfinal 1 match between Alter Ego and ONIC in the MPL Indonesia Playoffs, initially scheduled for November 4, 2026 at 1:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Alter Ego" if Alter Ego win the match against ONIC. This market will resolve to "ONIC" if ONIC win the match against Alter Ego. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 18, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of November 4, 2026 at 1:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/mobilelegends/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on team statistics and expert analysis, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, representing the collective beliefs of individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information or shifts in public opinion than sportsbooks, potentially offering a more dynamic assessment of the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of Alter Ego winning the series against ONIC. As more traders buy shares, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived chance of success. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand, providing a real-time assessment of the event’s potential outcome. The current implied probability of Alter Ego winning, as reflected by the market price, is 68.5%.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-five series between Alter Ego and ONIC in the MPL Indonesia Playoffs. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the outcome of this market. Any potential disputes or challenges to the official result will be considered based on publicly available information and rulings from the tournament administrators.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Unexpected news regarding player health, such as a key player being sidelined due to injury, could significantly shift the odds. In-game performance during the series itself, including early game advantages or strategic shifts, will also likely cause fluctuations. Furthermore, any announcements from the tournament organizers regarding scheduling changes or rule adjustments could impact trader sentiment and market prices. Public statements from team representatives or analysts could also contribute to movement in this market.
