This prediction group asks which MLB pitcher will record the most strikeouts during the 2026 MLB Postseason, encompassing the Wild Card Series, Division Series, League Championship Series, and World Series. Markets exist for individual pitchers as well as an 'Other' option.
This market will resolve in favor of the pitcher that finishes the 2026 MLB Postseason with the most strikeouts. In the event of a tie for the most strikeouts, this market will resolve in favor of the tied pitcher with the higher strikeouts per nine innings across the 2026 MLB Postseason. If a tie still persists, each tied pitcher's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". Only strikeouts in 2026 MLB Postseason games will count toward this market. The 2026 MLB Postseason comprises the Wild Card Series, the Division Series, the League Championship Series, and the World Series. Regular season games, exhibition games, and any tiebreaker or "Game 163" will not be considered part of the 2026 MLB Postseason. The "Other" market will resolve to "Yes" if the pitcher who leads is not among the listed pitchers. If the 2026 MLB Postseason is cancelled, or the World Series has not concluded by November 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, every named pitcher's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Each market assesses whether a specific pitcher leads all participants in postseason strikeouts. Only statistics from playoff games count; any pitcher who does not appear in a playoff game due to injury, suspension, retirement, or other reasons automatically loses. If multiple pitchers tie for the lead and the league does not name a single winner, all tied pitchers receive a proportional payout. Statistical corrections are only applied if they occur before the market's expiration date. Several factors could significantly impact the odds in this market. Injuries to key pitchers are a major catalyst, as they would alter the competitive landscape and impact strikeout potential. Strong or poor performances during the regular season leading up to the postseason could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected trades that bring new pitching talent into contention would also be influential. Furthermore, any news regarding pitching rotations or manager strategies could move the market. Finally, major upsets or surprising performances during the early rounds of the postseason could cause rapid price adjustments in this market.
