This prediction group asks which MLB player will lead the 2026 postseason in Runs Batted In (RBI). Markets exist for individual players as well as an 'Other' option, covering anyone not explicitly listed. The postseason includes the Wild Card Series, Division Series, League Championship Series, and World Series.
This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026 MLB Postseason with the most RBI. In the event of a tie for the most RBI, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher slugging percentage across the 2026 MLB Postseason. If a tie still persists, each tied player's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". Only RBI in 2026 MLB Postseason games will count toward this market. The 2026 MLB Postseason comprises the Wild Card Series, the Division Series, the League Championship Series, and the World Series. Regular season games, exhibition games, and any tiebreaker or "Game 163" will not be considered part of the 2026 MLB Postseason. The "Other" market will resolve to "Yes" if the player who leads is not among the listed players. If the 2026 MLB Postseason is cancelled, or the World Series has not concluded by November 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, every named player's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
The market resolves based on the player who records the most RBIs in the 2026 MLB postseason. Only statistics from playoff games are considered; regular-season performance is irrelevant. If a participant does not play any playoff games due to injury, suspension, retirement, or other reasons, the market resolves as No for that participant. In the event of a tie where the league does not declare a single winner, all tied participants receive a proportional payout. Any statistical corrections are only applied if made before the market expiration date. The markets are independent, with each participant’s outcome determined solely by whether they personally lead the league in RBIs during the postseason.
Numerous factors could influence trading activity in this market. Player injuries are a major catalyst, as the absence of a key hitter could significantly shift probabilities. Strong or poor performances during the regular season leading up to the postseason will also impact trader sentiment. Major trades involving potential RBI leaders could also cause significant price movement. Unexpected news regarding player health, team dynamics, or even weather conditions affecting key games could all contribute to shifts in this market’s odds. Any developments impacting a player’s playing time or expected role will likely be reflected in trading volume.
