This event group forecasts the total number of walk-off wins during the 2026 MLB Postseason. Markets range from 1+ walk-offs to 10+ walk-offs, allowing for granular predictions on the frequency of these game-ending scenarios.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total number of walk-off wins during the 2026 MLB Postseason equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A "walk-off win" is a game that ends the moment the home team takes the lead during its final at-bat, including in any extra inning. Any play producing that lead counts, including a hit, a walk, a hit by pitch, an error, or a balk. If no walk-off wins occur during the 2026 MLB Postseason, every market in this event will resolve to "No". Only walk-off wins in 2026 MLB Postseason games will count toward this market. The 2026 MLB Postseason comprises the Wild Card Series, the Division Series, the League Championship Series, and the World Series. Regular season games, exhibition games, and any tiebreaker or "Game 163" will not be considered part of the 2026 MLB Postseason. If the 2026 MLB Postseason is cancelled, or the World Series has not concluded by November 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Multiple markets across this event evaluate the number of walk-off victories occurring during the 2026 Pro Baseball Playoffs. A walk-off is defined as a game concluding when the home team scores the winning run in the bottom half of the ninth inning or any extra inning, with that run ending the game immediately. Regardless of how the winning run is scored, each instance counts toward the relevant market. Markets resolve to 'Yes' if the total number of walk-offs reaches or exceeds the specified threshold (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5), with all markets sharing the same definition of a qualifying walk-off scenario.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Significant injuries to key players on contending teams could impact their ability to win close games, potentially increasing the likelihood of walk-offs. Changes in MLB rule interpretations regarding balks or interference could also play a role. Unexpected weather patterns during the postseason, particularly in cities prone to rain delays, might create more opportunities for walk-off scenarios. Finally, major upsets in the early rounds of the playoffs could shift expectations and alter the perceived probabilities within this market.
