The 2026 World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays is a best-of-seven series, won by the first team to win four games. This market will resolve according to the final series score of the 2026 World Series, defined as the number of games won by each team when one team wins its fourth game (for example, "Brewers 4-2" means the Milwaukee Brewers won four games and the Tampa Bay Rays won two games). Each completed game of the series counts once, including a game that is suspended and later resumed. If the series is not completed by November 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, for any reason, including cancellation of the 2026 MLB Playoffs, or if MLB declares a 2026 World Series champion by any method other than a team winning four games, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks often set initial odds to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome, leading to potentially more accurate probabilities. However, it’s not uncommon to see convergence between the two as the event approaches and more information is factored in by both bettors and market participants. Discrepancies can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders attempt to profit from the difference in odds.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the MLB Playoffs series between the Brewers and the Rays, specifically the exact final score of the series. The platform will verify the result against official MLB records and reporting to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual series result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Injuries to key players on either the Brewers or the Rays would likely cause a shift in probabilities. Unexpected performance from starting pitchers or impactful offensive changes could also move the market. News regarding team strategies, weather conditions affecting games, or even public sentiment expressed through polls and analysis could all contribute to price fluctuations. Any development that alters perceptions of each team’s chances of winning the series has the potential to move this market.
