The 2026 MLB Playoffs National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers is a best-of-seven series, won by the first team to win four games. Each market in this event names a number of games. If the series is completed, a market will resolve to "Yes" if at least its listed number of games were played and to "No" otherwise (the "7 games" market resolves to "Yes" only if all seven games were played). Each completed game of the series counts once, including a game that is suspended and later resumed. If the series is not completed by November 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, for any reason, including cancellation of the 2026 MLB Playoffs, a market will resolve to "Yes" if, at that time, it is no longer possible for the series to be completed in fewer games than its listed number. Otherwise, it will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their books and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. You may find that this market adjusts more quickly to new information, such as injuries or lineup changes, than traditional sportsbooks. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of expertise among market participants and sportsbook oddsmakers, or simply due to the incentive structures of each venue.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total number of games played in the Brewers vs. Dodgers series is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be determined by the official MLB game results. The market will settle to 100% probability for the correct outcome, reflecting the actual length of the series. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Unexpected injuries to key players on either the Brewers or the Dodgers would likely cause shifts in probabilities. The performance of starting pitchers in the early games of the series will also be a major driver of price movement. Any news regarding weather conditions that could affect game play, or changes in team strategy, could also influence trader sentiment. Furthermore, public perception and media coverage surrounding the series could contribute to shifts in the market.
