Each market in this event names a team and a number of runs. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team scores the listed number of runs or more in total across all games of the 2026 MLB Playoffs National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only runs credited to the listed team in the official box score of each completed game count, including runs scored in extra innings. A game that is postponed or suspended counts once it has been completed. Official scoring changes announced by MLB within 24 hours of the end of the relevant game will be considered, but later changes will not. This market will resolve to "Yes" as soon as the listed team reaches the listed number of runs in the series. If the series is not completed by November 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, for any reason, including cancellation of the 2026 MLB Playoffs, this market will resolve based on the games of the series completed by that time: "Yes" if the listed team has scored the listed number of runs or more in those games, and otherwise "No". A game that has been suspended and not completed by that time will not count. The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB, including official box scores; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information and analysis beyond what’s readily available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market allows for continuous adjustment based on a broader range of factors and real-time information. It’s common to see prediction market probabilities diverge from sportsbook odds, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. This difference can present opportunities for informed traders to exploit discrepancies between the two.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the total runs scored by both the Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers in the officially recorded game statistics will determine the result. The official MLB game results will serve as the basis for verifying the winning outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the final score is confirmed and the market is settled on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or pitching changes for either the Brewers or the Dodgers would likely cause significant movement. Weather forecasts, particularly if they predict conditions favorable for high or low scoring, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, pre-game analysis from baseball experts and updated statistical projections can shift market sentiment. Finally, large-volume trades from informed participants could also trigger price fluctuations as traders react to new information or adjust their positions.
