In the upcoming La Liga game between Málaga CF and Real Sociedad de Fútbol, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Málaga CF vs. Real Sociedad de Fútbol match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Predict will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment changes leading up to the event.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. When more people buy a contract, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability of that outcome. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the collective beliefs of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Málaga CF vs. Real Sociedad match will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the exact final score of the game, as reported by official sources. Traders holding the winning contract will receive a payout based on the final price of that contract at resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff would likely have an impact. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also shift expectations. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from sports commentators and analysts, as well as public sentiment expressed on social media, can all contribute to price fluctuations. Major events impacting team morale or performance in preceding matches could also affect trading volume and odds.
