In the upcoming match between Málaga CF and Real Racing Club, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Málaga CF" if Málaga CF are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Real Racing Club" if Real Racing Club are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from La Liga (https://www.laliga.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can often differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, encouraging traders to balance the odds between the two. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, as the price adjusts continuously with each trade.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe Málaga CF will score first, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. Conversely, increased trading activity on Real Racing Club scoring first will increase the price of those shares. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the traders.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team—Málaga CF or Real Racing Club—scores the first goal during the first half of the match. The official match records will serve as the basis for verifying the result. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified outcome of the first half.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key offensive players for either Málaga CF or Real Racing Club, would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift trader sentiment. Even unexpected weather conditions on match day could impact the perceived likelihood of either team scoring first. Finally, any late-breaking news related to player suspensions or other unforeseen circumstances could move the market.
