This set of markets tracks how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Missouri and Arkansas. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined in that specific quarter.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Missouri vs Arkansas college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. Each market has a specific numerical threshold; if the combined score exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to Yes, otherwise No. For any game postponement, if the game commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the market remains active and resolves according to the final official result. If the game does not start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during regulation 4th quarter play count—overtime points are excluded from all calculations.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines due to the diverse information incorporated by traders. Sportsbooks set initial odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individuals, potentially revealing insights overlooked by traditional oddsmakers. It's common to see prediction market prices move independently of sportsbook odds as new information emerges and public sentiment shifts closer to the event's start time. These differences can present opportunities for informed traders.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the fourth quarter between Missouri and Arkansas will be used to determine whether the total points scored are over or under the threshold established by the market. Resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring an objective and transparent result. Traders will then receive payouts based on their positions in the market at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries on either team would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect the passing or running game, could also influence trader behavior. In-game developments during the first three quarters, such as a dominant performance by one team or unexpected scoring plays, will undoubtedly drive movement in the market as traders react to the unfolding events. Any significant shifts in public perception or expert analysis could also play a role.
