These markets track the total points scored by both teams in the first half of a college football game between Missouri and Arkansas. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of points, determining whether the combined score exceeds that threshold.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the first half of the Missouri vs Arkansas college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. For each market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., 2.5, 6.5, 9.5 points, etc.), the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original start time, the markets remain active and resolve according to the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets will resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants. Only points scored in the first half count toward these markets.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals trading based on their own information and beliefs. You may find that this market incorporates information more quickly than sportsbooks, especially regarding late-breaking news or changes in team conditions. It’s common to see discrepancies, as prediction markets aren’t subject to the same profit margins or risk management constraints as sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different possible first-half totals. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that total occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as they profit if their predictions are correct. The market dynamically adjusts as new information becomes available and traders update their beliefs, creating a constantly evolving assessment of the likely outcome for the Missouri-Arkansas 1st half total.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official first-half total score of the Missouri versus Arkansas game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score will be sourced from official game statistics and will determine which contracts pay out. The resolution process is automated based on this publicly available data. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the actual first-half total will receive a payout, while those holding contracts representing incorrect totals will not.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Missouri or Arkansas would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to impact scoring, could also shift the market. Late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions could also play a role. Even public sentiment, as reflected in betting trends and social media discussions, can contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
