On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous, automated market maker (AMM) mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes, and the price of each share adjusts based on supply and demand. As more traders believe a particular outcome is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the current collective assessment of the event's probability. The more volume traded, the more closely the market price tends to align with the perceived true probability of each outcome.
