In the upcoming Brazil Série A game between Mirassol FC and SC Internacional, scheduled for October 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Mirassol FC vs. SC Internacional match originally scheduled for October 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a 'wisdom of the crowd' that can differ from traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set initial odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities, particularly in events where public opinion significantly diverges from expert consensus, but sportsbook odds still provide a valuable benchmark for comparison.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, responding to news, analysis, and overall market sentiment surrounding the Mirassol FC vs. SC Internacional match. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to efficiently incorporate new information.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on the official final score of the Mirassol FC vs. SC Internacional match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The market will then settle to the outcome corresponding to the actual score, and shares will be redeemed accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand when the market is officially settled and payouts are processed.
Several factors could influence the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions would likely cause shifts in the odds. Furthermore, the performance of both teams in their preceding matches, weather conditions on match day, and even public sentiment expressed on social media could all play a role. Significant changes in betting patterns on Polymarket itself, driven by informed traders, will also be a key signal to watch as the match approaches and unfolds.
