Description

These markets track the total number of goals scored by both teams in the first period of an NHL game between Minnesota and Tampa Bay. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals needed for resolution. The outcomes depend on whether the combined score exceeds the specified threshold within the first period of play.

Kalshi

The markets resolve based on whether the combined total goals scored by both teams in the first period of the Minnesota vs Tampa Bay NHL game scheduled for October 8, 2026, exceeds specified thresholds (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Note that overtime goals in the third period do not affect these markets, though the first period does include any overtime play that might occur within that period.
