If Banchero enters the game after the first half ends, the contract settles based on actual statistics regardless of his first-half participation. Notably, injury status, an injury designation, or being officially ruled out does not trigger the protection clause; the resolution hinges solely on entry timing relative to the first half and the rebound count achieved.
