These markets track specific combinations of outcomes between the first half and the full game result in an upcoming football match. Each market requires both the first half result and the final game result to match a predetermined scenario for resolution.
All markets resolve based on the combined outcome of the first half and the full game result, including any overtime periods, of the Minnesota vs New Orleans Pro Football game scheduled for October 11, 2026. For a market to resolve as 'Yes,' both the specified first half result and the specified full game result must occur exactly as described. If either the first half or full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves as 'No.' If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets will resolve to a fair price. These rules apply uniformly across all markets listed.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective prediction of informed traders. Typically, prediction markets tend to be more accurate than traditional polls or even early sportsbook lines, as participants have a financial incentive to be correct. However, sportsbook odds can still be a useful data point for comparison, offering another perspective on the likely outcome of the Minnesota vs New Orleans game. Discrepancies can highlight potential value opportunities.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a particular result, the price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations as the event approaches. The current price reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants trading in this market.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Minnesota vs New Orleans game, specifically the 1st Half / Fulltime Result as determined by official league sources. The platform will verify the result against these sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the settlement of all outstanding contracts. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
