In the upcoming MLS game between Minnesota United FC and St. Louis City SC, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 4:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Minnesota United FC vs. St. Louis City SC match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 4:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as the event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or marketing considerations, while this market is driven purely by individuals wagering their own capital. However, there can be initial discrepancies, with sportsbooks potentially setting lines based on early information or public perception. Over time, this market often converges towards a more refined probability assessment as more information becomes available and trading volume increases.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different potential exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the probabilities. The most actively traded outcomes will generally have the tightest spreads, indicating greater confidence and liquidity.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Minnesota United vs. St. Louis match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine the winning contracts. Any potential delays in official reporting may slightly postpone resolution, but the process is designed to align with the official result as quickly as possible. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand the resolution.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Minnesota United or St. Louis City SC would likely cause price shifts. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is expected, could also impact trading activity. Additionally, tactical lineup announcements or significant shifts in team form based on recent matches could all contribute to movements in the odds. Unexpected news related to team management or internal conflicts could also introduce volatility into this market.
