PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria regarding the first goal scored within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, with the same fallback sources for data verification.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score during the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time wins the market.
  • If no team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, the market resolves to "Neither".
  • Postponed matches will remain open until completion.
  • Canceled matches (with no reschedule) resolve to "Neither".

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Discrepancies: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. Revisions to official scores after resolution are not considered.
  • No Acceptable Data: If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.
Timing: Resolution will occur as soon as official match statistics confirm the first goal scorer within the specified timeframe (90 minutes + stoppage time), or within 24 hours if relying on fallback data sources. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on models and expert analysis, while prediction markets are driven by real money at stake. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert opinion. It’s possible to find arbitrage opportunities by comparing the implied probabilities from both sources, though transaction fees and market liquidity should be considered when evaluating these opportunities.

Several signals could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Minnesota United FC or the Houston Dynamo would likely cause significant price movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions unfavorable for attacking play, could also impact the market. Pre-game analysis from soccer experts, tactical adjustments announced by the coaches, and even significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks could all contribute to shifts in the probabilities reflected in this market.
