In the upcoming MLS game between Minnesota United FC and Houston Dynamo, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Minnesota United FC vs. Houston Dynamo match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those displayed for this market, often reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to express their true beliefs, while sportsbooks need to account for profit margins and potential biases. The wisdom of the crowd tends to be quite effective at aggregating information and identifying undervalued or overvalued probabilities. However, sportsbooks often offer more diverse betting options, and prediction markets may have lower liquidity, especially for niche events. It’s beneficial to compare both to gain a comprehensive view.
Prices for this market on Polymarket and Predict may differ due to variations in trader participation, liquidity, and risk appetite between the two platforms. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with potentially different information and perspectives on the Minnesota United vs. Houston Dynamo match. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform influences price discovery; lower volume can lead to greater price volatility. These factors contribute to discrepancies, even though both markets aim to predict the same event. The differing interfaces and fee structures of Polymarket and Predict can also play a role.
