In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Mexico and Chile, scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Mexico vs. Chile match originally scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on expert analysis and team statistics, but are also influenced by factors like public betting patterns and risk management. This market, driven by individual traders on Predict, may incorporate a broader range of information and potentially identify mispricings that sportsbooks haven't yet accounted for. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges closer to the event.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of traders about the probability of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likely outcome. The current implied probabilities are shaped by the supply and demand for each contract, with higher demand driving up prices and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the Mexico vs. Chile match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sporting body. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market, and winning contracts will be paid out accordingly. It's important to note that the official score is the sole determinant of resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Mexico or Chile would likely cause price shifts. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the coaches, or even weather forecasts for the match location could also influence trader behavior. Unexpected news about the overall tournament or related matches could also indirectly affect this market, as could major shifts in public sentiment or expert predictions regarding the likely winner.
