In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Mexico and Chile, scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Mexico vs. Chile match originally scheduled for October 5, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of informed traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. These differences can present arbitrage opportunities for those who identify discrepancies between the two. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds-making, especially as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective assessment of that score's probability. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The volume of $18,325 traded so far indicates the level of interest in this particular event, and the price movements reveal how traders are reacting to news and information.
This market resolves around Oct 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Mexico vs. Chile match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be the basis for determining winning shares. The platform will then distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the final result. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed score to understand when the market will be settled and payouts will be processed.
Several factors could influence the Mexico vs. Chile score market. Any news regarding key player injuries, changes in team formations, or weather conditions could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about player availability or tactical adjustments would likely cause price fluctuations on Polymarket. Furthermore, public sentiment and analysis from soccer experts could also impact trading activity. Major upsets in other related matches or shifts in overall team performance leading up to the game could also be catalysts for movement in this market.
