Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as the event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market relies on individuals incentivized to predict correctly. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes offer value if they significantly diverge from the prediction market's implied probabilities. It’s important to compare both to identify potential discrepancies and informed betting opportunities.
