On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who buy shares in a particular outcome, the higher its price will rise, indicating increased confidence. Conversely, selling pressure will lower the price. This dynamic process creates a constantly updating probability assessment based on the aggregated views of all traders.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Melnykov vs. Stetsenko match, as reported by a recognized and authoritative source for sports results. The platform will verify the information against these sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual result of the match. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the players' form, potential injuries, changes in coaching strategy, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements related to the match schedule or venue could also have an impact.
