On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will climb. Conversely, if sentiment shifts towards another outcome, its share price will increase while the others decrease. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Melnyk vs. Pysmennyi match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could all impact trader sentiment. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, may also play a role, though the market isn’t necessarily tied to these external indicators. Major upsets in related events or shifts in overall tournament standings could also contribute to price movements, as traders reassess the probabilities of each outcome.
