On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the latest information and collective intelligence of the traders involved. The current price reflects the aggregated assessment of all participants.

Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could influence trader sentiment. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, might also play a role, though the market isn’t necessarily correlated to these. Major upsets in related matches or significant shifts in betting patterns on sportsbooks could also cause adjustments.
