Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the prediction market price will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of money has been traded on Polymarket.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where shares representing each possible outcome are bought and sold. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the price of other outcomes decreases. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
