Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously buying and selling shares in the prediction market and placing bets at a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more shares are bought for a specific score, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of that result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand from traders on Polymarket, and it’s constantly adjusting based on new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
