Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to reveal their true beliefs, while sportsbooks need to account for profit margins and potential biases. While sportsbooks set lines to balance betting action, this market aggregates diverse opinions, leading to price discovery driven by informed traders. However, sportsbook odds are readily accessible and may offer different value depending on individual risk tolerance and market timing. Both offer unique perspectives on the likely outcome of the NBL championship.
