In the upcoming Women's Super League game between Manchester United WFC and Liverpool LFC, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 8:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Manchester United WFC vs. Liverpool LFC match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 8:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It's common to see prediction markets adjust more rapidly to new information than sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy shares in a particular score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are influenced by various factors, including team news, injuries, and overall public sentiment. The market’s efficiency relies on informed traders and active participation.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Manchester United vs. Liverpool match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football authorities. The platform will then determine which exact score share corresponds to the actual result and distribute payouts accordingly. It’s important to note that the official result is the sole determinant, and any disputes regarding the score will be resolved based on the official record.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester United or Liverpool would likely cause shifts in the odds. Major tactical announcements from either manager could also influence trading activity. Unexpected changes in team form leading up to the match, such as a surprising loss in a previous game, could also move the market. Furthermore, general public sentiment and media coverage surrounding the match can contribute to price fluctuations. Any late-breaking news related to the teams or the match itself could trigger substantial changes.
