In the upcoming Premier League game between Manchester United FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Manchester United FC vs. Tottenham Hotspur FC match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of numerous independent traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular first-half score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. Discrepancies can arise from differing information, biases, or simply the collective insight of the prediction market participants. It’s often insightful to compare the two to identify potential value.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's current expectation of that outcome's probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand, with increased buying pressure raising prices and increased selling pressure lowering them. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official, final first-half score of the Manchester United vs. Tottenham match as reported by a trusted sports data provider. The market will determine which exact first-half score occurred during the game. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the verified result. The outcome will be clearly displayed on Polymarket following official confirmation.
Several factors could influence this market before Oct 10, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester United or Tottenham would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact predictions. Even weather conditions on match day, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could affect the game's dynamic and influence the perceived likelihood of different scores. Finally, any late-breaking news or rumors related to team morale or internal conflicts could also move the market.
