Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe Manchester United and Bournemouth are likely to accumulate 11+ corners, the price will move accordingly, potentially diverging from sportsbook lines. It's common to see prediction markets offer more accurate probabilities, especially closer to the event date as more information becomes available.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Manchester United and Bournemouth will have 11 or more total corners. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand; if more people want to buy (bet on) the outcome, the price rises, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the collective intelligence of the traders participating in this market.

This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final corner count for the Manchester United versus Bournemouth match will be used to determine if the total number of corners exceeds 10. The official match statistics will be the source for this information. Traders holding a contract predicting 11 or more corners will receive a payout if the outcome is verified as such, while those betting against it will not.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Injury news regarding key players for either Manchester United or Bournemouth, particularly those known for taking corners or drawing fouls in dangerous areas, could significantly shift trader sentiment. Tactical changes announced by either manager, such as a more attacking or defensive approach, could also impact expectations. Even weather conditions – a windy day could lead to more errant crosses and thus more corners – could play a role in how this market moves before it resolves.
