In the upcoming Premier League game between Manchester City FC and Ipswich Town FC, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Manchester City FC vs. Ipswich Town FC match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it might indicate that the crowd believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate. The difference often depends on public perception and information available.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more a particular outcome is favored, the higher its price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market stays responsive to new information and changing opinions.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Manchester City vs. Ipswich match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning contract. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy. Traders holding the winning contract will receive a payout based on the final price of that contract at resolution. It’s important to monitor the official results as reported by recognized sports news outlets.
Several factors could influence this market before Oct 17, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester City or Ipswich Town would likely cause significant movement. Unexpected changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift probabilities. Furthermore, weather conditions on match day, particularly if they are severe, might impact the expected outcome. Even public sentiment and late-breaking news related to team morale or coaching decisions could contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
