In the upcoming Premier League game between Manchester City FC and Brighton & Hove Albion FC, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Manchester City FC vs. Brighton & Hove Albion FC match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, as they reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, particularly if they differ significantly from this market’s implied probabilities. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially shortly after the market opens or following significant news events related to team form or player availability. Comparing the two can help identify potential arbitrage opportunities or simply provide a broader perspective on the likely outcome of the match.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, ultimately reflecting the market’s collective probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders express their beliefs, the odds converge towards what the market believes is the most likely outcome. This dynamic pricing mechanism differs from fixed-odds betting, allowing for more nuanced and responsive probabilities.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Manchester City vs. Brighton match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football authorities. Any potential extra time or penalty shootouts will be considered as part of the final score if applicable to the competition format. The platform will then determine which exact score contract corresponds to the verified result.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester City or Brighton would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also influence trader behavior. Furthermore, late-breaking news about weather conditions or referee appointments could play a role. Even significant shifts in public sentiment, reflected in analyst predictions, may cause movement in this market as traders adjust their positions.
