Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of the event. If a significant number of people believe 3 or more goals will be scored, the price will move accordingly, potentially offering a different value than what’s available at a sportsbook. It’s always wise to compare both to identify potential opportunities and inform your decision-making.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively representing the market’s collective probability assessment. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts to reflect the changing consensus. The current price indicates the implied probability of Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain scoring 3 or more total goals, as determined by the traders on Limitless.

This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result—whether Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain score 3 or more goals in the match—will be sourced from official match data. The resolution will be based on the total goals scored by both teams combined during regular play; any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. Traders will then be paid out or have their funds returned based on whether their prediction aligned with the final outcome.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester City or Paris Saint Germain would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical approaches, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also cause movement. Any information that alters perceptions of the teams’ scoring potential will likely be reflected in the price of this market, creating opportunities for informed traders.
