This market will resolve to "YES" if the combined total number of goals scored by Manchester City and Brighton is 3 or higher during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Premier League match scheduled for October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially in the lead-up to an event. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates diverse opinions. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, particularly if they diverge significantly from the prediction market price. It's always wise to compare both to make informed decisions, but the efficiency of this market often leads to a strong correlation with the eventual outcome.
On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. Traders bid up the price of 'yes' contracts (over 3 goals) if they believe it’s more likely, and sell them if they think it’s less likely. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust the perceived probability of the event.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Manchester City versus Brighton match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the total number of goals scored by both teams during regular game time. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. The final result will be sourced from official match data and will determine whether the 'yes' or 'no' outcome is settled.
Several factors could influence this market. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester City or Brighton would likely have a significant impact. Tactical changes announced by either manager, particularly those affecting attacking lineups, could also shift the odds. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, potentially influencing the style of play and goal-scoring opportunities. Unexpected results in other matches involving these teams, or changes in their league standings, might also cause traders to reassess the probability of a high-scoring game.
