Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own analysis, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals trading based on their own insights, leading to potentially more accurate probabilities as new information emerges. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, access to information, or simply the dynamic nature of trading activity. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to breaking news than sportsbooks.
