Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, being driven by user predictions, aims to reflect the true probabilities as perceived by the crowd, though biases can still exist. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially when there's significant public interest or disagreement about the likely outcome. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
